Founder and co-founder of 2 popular International brands and some new products that were a flash in the pan as complete failures, he has gathered 45 years of experience especially when it comes to startups. 

He has taken something that does not exist, designed it, built it, proved the concept and brought it to market successfully… then building a business around it.

He has thus become an expert in sniffing out good ideas from bad, by asking the right questions and applying proven, tested business principles that apply to virtually all successful enterprises. 

President and owner of P. S. Taggart Enterprises and Taggart Land LLC, he is the embodiment of what it means to be an investor as well as an inventor of new and original products that the public still buys and enjoys.

He has gained experience in the real estate business as well as with other ventures in many diverse arenas including the original locker bag (OGIO), Strider and is the PMD founder, co-owner and former CEO.

“How do we ascertain that this product or idea that all our family and friends think is wonderful will be widely accepted and purchased at any price? It does not matter what I think or my family. It matters how the public feels about your ideas.” So how do you know if an idea has traction and if there is a good chance for success? 

What is more, the challenges of overcoming the fact that no one has ever heard of this widget or idea before, and they have no clue what it will do for them is huge. “Demonstrating this new idea quickly and effectively was always a challenge”.

  • Real estate brokerage and development raising over $12,000,000 in venture capital for startup opportunities with varied applications

  • Building the PMD beauty brand, setting up web sellers and establishing distribution channels worldwide with retail, online and live TV sales

What he has learnt by trial and error through the years has allowed him to develop and master skills such as leadership, negotiation, public relations, sales and marketing, business management, social media, planning and development. 

“My life has been a search for mailbox income and securing my family's quality of life . Income that will feed us when I am busy at work or when we are on vacation. Building a portfolio where I can contribute to good causes and assist my posterity to follow suit was and still is a motivation.

We have been told that the more we give the more we get. I have found this to be true. Thinking of others and finding ways to help them become better raises the tide for all”.
