Robert J. Finlay, CPM® has launched and sold many successful commercial real estate tech startups such as Commercial Defeasance, Investor Management Services (IMS), and Tax Credit Asset Management (TCAM) over the last 20 years. Commercial Defeasance was sold to Summit Partners in 2006, TCAM to MRI Software in 2018 and IMS to RealPage in 2019. He develops technologies to make real estate investors more efficient and more profitable. 

Mr. Finlay’s entrepreneurial inspiration comes from bringing services to market that are ahead of their time. Developing and marketing a new technology means changing the behavior of the CRE industry, and Mr. Finlay thrives on the trajectory of service creation, market-entry, and adoption. He also earned his certified property manager (CPM) accreditation in 2019.

Mr. Finlay’s latest ventures are Thirty Capital and Lobby CRE.  Thirty Capital is the parent company of Lobby CRE, among other brands.  He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer.  These companies combine modern technology with expert services to propel the commercial real estate industry’s advancement. 

He is a graduate of New Hampshire College, where he earned a B.S. in Finance, leading to an early career in financial services on Wall Street with Credit Suisse First Boston and Lehman Brothers.
