Danielle Applestone is a serial entrepreneur, engineer, and CEO/co-founder of Daughters of Rosie, a company that helps growing companies build diverse teams. Prior to that, she was the co-founder and CEO of Other Machine Co. (now Bantam Tools) a US-based manufacturer of desktop CNC machines. Danielle received her B.S. in chemical engineering from MIT in 2002 and a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012. During graduate school, she patented battery materials that have been licensed to a multinational materials company. She is a member of the 2016 Class of Henry Crown Fellows.
