Bio:

Brian is the Founder of GRIT360. He is a creative by makeup. He has co-founded (with his tether to the Earth and wife, Kelly) an import business,and an animal rescue. He is a race director, and a serial connector. Brian is a retired Russian-speaking Intelligence Officer, who was creating innovative programs while a Soldier. While the Operations Officer of an Intelligence Battalion in Afghanistan, Brian taught English to the Kirgi women in the evenings. Brian created a language immersion program that continues to this day, and an online language learning program called "LingFit". He also served as the J2 (Intelligence Officer)  for Special Operations Detachment-Pacific.  

He always had one foot in the military, and another foot in the civilian community ever trying to drag these communities closer together. Where others see differences and disparity, Brian sees potential for connection and common points of interest. "We are all simply different manifestations of the same four letters. We are reflections of each other trying to understand this complicated world. The world is way bigger than us, we need help to navigate it. We must work together."

Our experiences, titles, and roles do not define us, but may help describe part of us. When integrated they give us perspective. Our troubles begin when we see these roles as our defining ourselves. That is the beginning of limitations and how we see ourselves as separate and different from others. It is what causes everything from wars to our current political divides. 

When not working, he can usually be found walking or running with his dogs while listening to a book.
