Chris is currently a police sergeant at a mid-sized department in the suburbs of Seattle, Washington where he served on one of the most active tactical teams in the Pacific Northwest. Before transitioning to a career in law enforcement, he spent several years litigating civil and criminal matters at the largest prosecuting agency in Washington State. He is perhaps the only licensed attorney and police officer in the United States to be directly involved in multiple officer-involved critical incidents.
He’s learned that effective leadership begins with leading oneself, and communication, humility and love are first principles in navigating uncertainty. In 2018 Chris founded Valor Resource Group to share these lessons with leaders across industries in the public and private sectors.
Chris is also dad and overachieving husband. Between family and work, he’s a USPA rated skydiving coach, mountain bike jockey, motocross dad (and sometimes back-of-the-pack racer), snowmobile rookie, CrossFit nerd and mountain climber.
