Moatti is the author of the bestselling book mobilized: An Insider’s Guide to the Business and Future of Connected Technology (Berrett-Koehler Publishers; May 2, 2016) which looks at the mobile revolution and gives businesses and professionals simple ways to thrive in this modernday “gold rush.” Using success stories of some of today’s top mobile products – Facebook, Uber, Pandora, Airbnb, Trulia, WhatsApp and more – Mobilized shows readers that there is a “mobile formula,” or set of three all-encompassing rules, that guide mobile success.
Moatti is the managing director of The Angels’ Forum, an early-stage hybrid venture fund, and the founder of Products That Count, a community of 12,000+ product managers and innovators that produces a popular speaker series on product design. She also serves on boards of both public and private companies, including mobile technology giant Opera Software (OPERA:Oslo).
Moatti frequently gives keynote on the business of innovation at top events, including the Open Mobile Summit, Knowing Asia, and the annual NACD Summit. Her commentaries on mobile products and the mobile revolution can be found in outlets like The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The Harvard Business Review, The Huffington Post, on NPR’s “Tech Nation” and other top forums. Moatti lectures on mobile and innovation at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she earned her MBA and has a Master of Science in electrical engineering.
A native of Paris, France, Moatti now lives in San Francisco. When she isn’t working, she enjoys tango, martial arts and hosting parties.
